The MVP Council is an assembly of current and alumni NFL Players located within the southeast that have joined forces with SUDIA on their efforts to tackle childhood obesity through the National Fuel Up to Play 60 Program. The council was established to bring an element of excitement (on a regional level) to each state with local NFL players who stand as spokespersons for the initiative. Council members accompany SUDIA staff at various events such as school pep rallies, state conferences, and key leader meetings to give their ‘personal’ story as to why physical fitness and nutrition are important.
